#100 Jeff Boccaccio: From IT Consultant to Trader and System Builder

In this episode, we talk in-depth with Jeff Boccaccio about his journey from the non-trading world, to the world of trading his own money. Jeff was initially was an IT consultant.

This a conversation which covers from a wide and varied range which will be hugely valuable and hopefully inspiring, to traders of all types.

Jeff also shares valuable insights and advice about trading, the reality of how long it takes to learn and develop the skills to become a successful trade, and about the emotional challenges of trading and investing.

In addition, Jeff talks about the importance of having an additional source of income, so that the need for wins, does not force traders to act in ways which work against success. Jeff, himself, supplements his income through his business with his partner, ‘R-Factory’, which builds systems, indicators and provides training and consulting for traders.

Jeff has become involved with the Society of Technical Analysts (The STA), and is now on the board of the STA.
