Acquisition Strategy and Funnel
Our acquisition strategy consists of multiple channels to attract new subscribers. We focus on organic word-of-mouth, journalist articles, events, email partnerships, and podcast appearances. Our goal is to add 75 email subscribers per day, but we average around 60. To onboard new subscribers, we have two sequences covering email workshops and notion training. Once they complete these sequences, they transition to receiving our regular Saturday newsletter. Our main focus is expanding the middle of the funnel, ensuring customer engagement and purchase intent.
The Role of Copywriting
Copywriting has played a crucial role in our business growth. Although I had no background in marketing or copywriting, I immersed myself in learning copywriting techniques and attended an intensive course. I realized the power of effective copywriting when between the third and fourth cohorts, our revenue tripled. Copywriting helped us articulate our value proposition and connect with our audience emotionally. We prioritize writing copy that resonates with people without making them feel bad about themselves. Copywriting has become a key tool in selling our courses and driving customer engagement.
Implications and Expansion Plans
Our business primarily revolves around running the ten-week course, offered three times a year, which generates around 80% of our revenue. We are looking to expand our product offerings and revenue streams, including corporate workshops and consulting. One of our main strategies is to free up my (K's) time by empowering the team to take on more editorial roles and share my framework and vision through various mediums like newsletters, blog posts, and Twitter threads. We are also focused on refining our acquisition strategy, experimenting with SEO, and exploring the potential of social media platforms like Twitter.

The course started with tangible skills and gradually transitioned into a course on lifestyle design, combining productivity systems with philosophical questions. The focus shifted from selling a product to providing a personal transformation, resulting in a successful flagship course.
