The Impact of Technology and Diet on Attention

Our attention is affected by our heavy reliance on technology and the Western diet of processed foods. Neuroscientists have found that our brains can only focus on one or two thoughts at a time, yet many believe they can handle multiple forms of media simultaneously. This constant shifting and switching between tasks results in degraded attention and performance.
