Danny Lennon is the founder of Sigma Nutrition and a respected educator in the field who has spoken at conferences and events all over Europe. Danny has a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences from University College Cork, during which time Danny completed his research thesis directly under the world-renowned vitamin D researcher Professor Kevin Cashman. Previous to this Danny also completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Physics Education and spent a year teaching these subjects.
Additionally, Danny has worked as a nutrition practitioner with a wide variety of clients. He became well known for his role as a performance nutritionist to professional mixed martial artists & boxers. He oversees the Sigma Nutrition online coaching service, in which a number of excellent coaches work one-to-one with a wide array of clients.
Outside of the nutrition world, Danny is a powerlifter, BJJ blue belt and a life-long Arsenal fan. Danny also spends a lot of time reading and learning about cardiovascular disease prevention and risk modification (most specifically lipoproteins and atherosclerosis development).
