NOTE

Fasting Is Not Good For Women

Women have more oxidative fibers in their muscles, making them more metabolically flexible than men. Fasting or low-calorie diets can stress women's bodies, increasing cortisol levels and affecting hormone regulation. Women need to fuel their bodies adequately to avoid dysregulation of key hormones like thyroid and luteinizing hormone. Aligning nutrition with circadian rhythms leads to better brain function, cognitive performance, and thyroid health. Breaking fast earlier in the day and finishing eating earlier in the afternoon can lead to better outcomes than fasting until noon and eating later in the day, emphasizing the importance of eating when the body needs it based on stress levels.
