How to Collect User Information for Your Data Warehouse Team

To track user attribution information, store the Google click ID and UTM locally on the device. Whenever a user visits, update the last campaign with the new one. Third party tools collect this information as user attributes and events, providing both first and last attribution details. By firing off page view events with first and last attributes, the data warehouse team can gather all the UTMs seen for each user. Setting this up is not complicated, but many people fail to do it early and end up without the necessary data for MTA analysis later.
