ADHD can be both a liability and a superpower. It is not a deficit or a disorder, but rather an attribute and a characteristic. In some contexts, ADHD can make it a struggle to get work done, but it also brings creativity, the ability to see patterns and make connections quickly, and hyper-focus. Children should be taught about the superpower aspect of ADHD instead of being told they have a deficit. One resource recommended is the book 'ADHD 2.0' which provides a deeper understanding of this magical superpower.
