Breaking up a decision into features and evaluating each independently, delaying intuition until all information is gathered, improves judgment. Independent judgments are crucial; discussing decisions before making independent judgments can reduce the accuracy. To enhance judgment quality, withhold sharing conclusions with others, allowing them to form independent conclusions. The principle is similar to not letting witnesses of a crime discuss before examination for unbiased testimony.
