Magnesium three innate and magnesium by glycinate are easily transported across the blood-brain barrier for better sleep. Magnesium citrate is a powerful laxative but not effective for inducing sleep. To improve sleep, take 200-400mg of magnesium three and eight or by glycinate, along with 200-400mg of theanine for a hypnotic effect. Avoid theanine if you sleepwalk or have night terrors. Apogenin, derived from chamomile, helps shut down the brain for better sleep. A cocktail of 50mg apogenin, 300-400mg magnesium three and eight or by glycinate, and 200-400mg theanine is an effective way to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep for 7-8 hours. Consult your doctor if you have heart issues.
