There are two ways to improve our responses to biases and impulses. The stoic approach suggests pressing the pause button and creating space between input and reaction, while journaling helps store reflective responses for later. Alternatively, eastern practices advocate for emptying the mind through mindful techniques. Combining these approaches can be beneficial, as we already have the tools to improve ourselves.
