How to Cook and Eat Artichokes

To cook artichokes, steam them for about an hour until the leaves are soft and easily pull off. Dip the leaves in olive oil and vinegar before scraping off the tasty parts. Start with small portions if you're new to artichokes and make sure to remove the hairy parts in the middle. Taking pre and probiotics together is recommended to support the bacteria in the gut, but be cautious if you have bacterial or fungal overgrowth as it can cause discomfort.
