Biases and flaws in behavior are not separate from a mechanism that mostly explains behavior in a functional way but can lead to predictable errors under certain conditions. Cultural norms can override biological programming, highlighting the interaction between culture and biology. The distinction between culture and biology may not always be clear, and theories like dual inheritance theory and gene-culture coevolution can be subjective in their usefulness. Some theories may defend rationality by claiming ecologically rational behavior, which is not how behavior is always interpreted, showing that understanding behavior is influenced by individual perspectives.
