Providing information about why to do something in a domain already well understood does not lead to lasting change. However, presenting statistics along with key information on how to behave is effective for creating change. The most effective approach is to offer specific information on what behavior to adopt and how to execute it, aligning with the behavior model that requires motivation, ability, and prompts to occur simultaneously.
