The Importance of Force and Intensity in Strength Training

To develop strength, challenge your muscles to produce more force. Untrained individuals respond well to any type of exercise, but for strength gains, high intensity and low repetition ranges are key. Start with warm-up sets and gradually increase intensity. Rest for 2 to 4 minutes between sets to maintain intensity. Use supersetting to engage other muscle groups and maximize efficiency.
