Creatine's Potential Impact on Bone Strength and Mineral Density

Creatine has been studied in relation to bone strength and density. When osteoblasts cells were exposed to creatine, they became more energized and had better activity. However, the benefits of creatine on bone strength require mechanical stimuli from exercise. Combining creatine with resistance training three days a week for up to a year has been shown to reduce the rate of bone mineral density loss, particularly in post-menopausal females.
