Adjusting Nutrition Based on Energy Demands
Nutrition is tailored to the energy demands of the day, with higher fuel intake on race days and post-race recovery. On non-race days, fuel intake is reduced, with an emphasis on high-antioxidant and anti-inflammatory foods. Training days are moderately fueled, prioritizing session fueling. Rest days involve higher protein intake and less carbohydrates since the latter is reserved for when needed.
