Determining Skills vs. Attributes

Determining whether something is a skill or an attribute can be done by asking, "Can it be taught?", If the answer is yes, it's probably a skill, if the answer is no, it's probably an attribute. Developing an attribute requires knowledge, motivation, and deliberate effort to test and tease it in different environments.
