The team of 18 associates speaks to about 8,000 companies a year to find potential investment opportunities, using eight criteria to filter companies. By applying five or more criteria, they identify about 800 companies, leading to due diligence on 150 to 175 and eventually investing in five to seven deals a year. To source deals, they primarily rely on outbound cold calling and inbound lead flow from LPs, who provide valuable insights and connections to hard-to-reach companies, significantly increasing the success rate of meeting potential investment targets.
