Toxic relationships with goals are real, and growth mindset isn't always the answer. It's concerning that some educators have never heard of Freud. Instead of focusing solely on growth mindset, we should prioritize growth and motivation towards wise goals that align with our skills and improve the world. Blindly celebrating growth mindset and grit isn't ideal either. And yes, some serial killers are lazy.
