Differentiating between coaching and evaluation (hearing judgement is a personality problem)

Coaching and evaluation should be differentiated in order to avoid confusion. Coaching is considered as part of evaluation, but the two should be distinguished. There is often a mismatch between what the giver intends as coaching and how the receiver perceives it as judgment or evaluation. This discrepancy may be attributed to the receiver's personality problems. It is important to clarify the distinction between coaching and evaluation to ensure effective communication and understanding between the giver and receiver.
