Importance of Habitual Physical Activity over Fitness Levels

Individuals who engage in less physical activity at the beginning of an intervention tend to have higher levels of binge eating and disinhibited behavior. This suggests that those who naturally lead healthier lifestyles may better regulate their appetite and engage more in exercise. Naturally more physically active individuals push themselves further during exercise interventions.
