Ep. 270: Your Projects - What to Know When

Getting Things Done

NOTE

Organizing Projects for Effective Management

Projects can be categorized into active projects requiring immediate next actions and projects on hold or someday maybe, which require less frequent review. It is crucial to identify next actions for active projects during weekly reviews while ensuring proper organization to avoid misclassification. Projects can be grouped by areas of focus, such as quality control or staff morale, or divided into personal and professional categories, based on individual preferences. Each project must have designated next actions, which can be independent of one another even if they belong to the same project. It's beneficial to also consider potential future actions that may arise during creative planning sessions, although they are not immediate next actions. This proactive approach to project management ensures clarity and effectiveness in progressing towards goals.
