How to Warm Up Your Climbing Shoes
Keep your hands warm while climbing by using little pod-shaped hand warmers. Put them on low and they will stay warm. You can even place them in the pockets of your thick down jacket along with your climbing shoes to keep your hands and shoes warm. This tip is especially useful for warming up at the crag. Additionally, putting cold climbing shoes on your feet can cause numbness, so consider keeping them inside your jacket to warm them up. Circulation issues among climbers are often due to the limited space in the carpal tunnel in the wrist, which can be caused by thickening tendons.
