NOTE

Reality as a Brain-Generated Game Engine

The universe may fundamentally be a mathematical tautology that accounts for existence rather than non-existence, leading to the concept of a branching multiverse where all possible realities coexist. This perspective aligns with a physicalist worldview that diverges from traditional interpretations of physicalism. It emphasizes that what we perceive as the physical universe is not merely res extensa, as proposed by Descartes, but rather a construct shaped by our brain's interpretations. In this view, colors and sounds are not intrinsic properties of the physical world but are experiences generated internally. The dreams we experience at night share similarities with our waking perceptions, with the latter being more stable due to external sensory data that the brain processes. Thus, a dualist perspective arises, acknowledging an underlying representational layer in which conscious experience takes place.
