Emphasizing the importance of prioritizing people over belt color in teaching jujitsu. It is more crucial for instructors to connect with students on a human level, empathize with their struggles and fears, rather than focusing solely on their accolades or belt color. Success in running training centers is not limited to black belts; purple and brown belts have proven to be successful leaders, often with more empathy towards students due to their recent experience as white belts.
