Stick with an exercise for 10-12 weeks

The strongest power lifters use a conjugate model with small exercise variations to train consistently and heavily. Changing exercises too often is a mistake. It takes about three weeks to figure out the groove of an exercise before progress can be made. Standardization and progress should be achieved before making changes.
