How do you spend your time are your priorities

Tracking time and paying attention to where it is going is important. Some people question the need to optimize every 15 minutes of the day, but scheduling time for spontaneity allows for both structure and flexibility. Categorizing and tracking time spent on different activities helps to see if stated priorities align with actual time allocation. It can be surprising to realize how time is actually spent and how it may differ from what is believed. There is an emotional and physical cost to doing tasks that are disliked. Course correction involves not just awareness, but aligning time allocation with values and priorities. How one spends their time is a reflection of their priorities, regardless of what they claim those priorities to be. The calendar serves as an empirical record of actual priorities, and often, people find that their stated priorities and time allocation do not align.
