Easing Back Into Training After a Break
After taking a break from the gym, it's important to ease back into training to avoid injury. Starting with sets of five to ten, and leaving three or four reps in reserve, along with an extended warm-up using lighter loads than usual reduces the risk of injury. It's a misconception that starting below typical abilities makes the body weaker, as the strength would return rapidly, and in a few weeks, one would be close to previous abilities.
