The Difference between Simple Bravery and the Cardinal Virtue of Courage
Simple bravery is not the same as the cardinal virtue of courage./nBravery involves facing physical danger, regardless of the reasons behind it./nMorally courageous people only face consequences of their actions when they are morally salient./nCourage is not about impressing others or showing off, but doing the right thing./nSome instances of courage may be driven by non-model or immoral reasons./nImmoral bravery exists when individuals fight for morally questionable causes, but it does not make them courageous in the sense of cardinal virtues.
