Meeting Robin Simone at the venture studio Pre-Hype was a lucky break. Working together, Simone's ability to push and bring out the best in people impressed me. I also had the opportunity to learn from Rob, VP of growth at Barkbox, who consistently gave valuable advice. Realizing our complementary skills and shared goal of starting a healthcare company, we formed a strong, three-legged team. Our past experiences in starting companies helped us quickly raise money from previous investors, which was fortunate and not typical for most people.
