Motivations for Achievement and Understanding Salvation

Motivation for achievement can come from fear or a desire for a good self-image. However, these motives are ultimately selfish. The Christian belief is that salvation is freely given, but it came at a great cost. The Son of God lost his glory and paid the debt himself. The sacrifice made is something we may not fully comprehend.
