Christianity is both inside and out

Christianity is not solely based on looking outside or only looking inside. It requires a balance of both introspection and self-awareness. The example of Peter, who saw himself as brave but denied Jesus three times, illustrates the need to know oneself accurately. When our identity is based on our performance or achievements, we may avoid looking inside our hearts and confronting our flaws. Christianity teaches that knowing God's love allows us to see ourselves as sinners who need salvation, leading to a humble and balanced perspective.
