Being Human with Steve Cuss
Identify and Release False Needs
In our pursuit of fulfillment, we often confront false needs that distort our perception of what is genuinely necessary for our well-being. Writing down and sharing our thoughts helps us externalize them, thus breaking the potential cycle of overthinking. Key false needs include the need for others' approval, the pressure of perfectionism, the desire for complete answers, the quest for control, and the urge to support others perfectly. Recognizing these false needs allows for deeper self-understanding and fosters healthier relationships with ourselves and others.
