Deconstructing Yourself

NOTE

Shaking is purification, but needs to be connected to emotion

Meditation can invoke various spontaneous releases, such as crying, laughing, or shaking. Different traditions approach these expressions differently; some allow them while others require stillness. The practice of mandatory stillness promotes disidentification from the emerging activities during meditation, helping individuals learn not to become attached to these experiences. Conversely, allowing physical expression like shaking facilitates purification, potentially preventing recurrence of emotional energy in the future. However, disidentification alone may lead to unresolved issues resurfacing. It's crucial to explore any emotional components linked to energetic discharge, encouraging individuals to engage with their core feelings, transforming the experience from a detached energy release to an emotional exploration in order to achieve deeper healing.
