In the world of romantic prospects, status plays a big role for men. Being associated with a famous person can bring attention and benefits. However, for women, being friends with a celebrity may not have the same effect on attracting high-quality men. Lifestyle changes may occur when befriending a male celebrity, but it doesn't guarantee a pool of potential mates. On the other hand, befriending someone like Dan Bilzerian can lead to a desirable lifestyle.

Rob Henderson is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge and a US Air Force Veteran.

Men fight. Sometimes they look silly when they fight. But they also collaborate and team up to take on common enemies. Women fight in very different ways that are less obvious, but no less vicious, and they sometimes try to even scupper their own teammates.
