NOTE

Understanding Human Needs and Behavior

Human behavior is often driven by wholesome needs such as wanting to feel better, to connect, or to take a break. By depathologizing these needs, we can acknowledge the common humanity in engaging activities. It's essential to question what is actually gained from these actions, as often the outcome is different from the initial intention. This practice can lead to exploring alternative ways to fulfill these needs instead of resorting to the habitual actions. By recognizing and labeling the underlying human needs that drive our behavior, such as the desire for connection, we can redirect our focus towards healthy and fulfilling alternatives.
