Understanding Ideologies: Beyond Implementation
Ideologies such as communism and capitalism should be separated from their historical implementations, which can distort their original ideals. Marx outlined a progression from feudalism to capitalism, with socialism as a transitional phase leading to the ultimate goal of communism. While capitalism initially brought wealth and opportunity, it later became beneficial only to the bourgeoisie. Marx argued that for wider societal benefit, the working class must overthrow capitalism to achieve a more equitable distribution of wealth and productivity, thus allowing humanity to flourish.
