Shashank changed the policy to have time off every eight weeks instead of every seven. The team couldn't take back to back weeks off and only one week off at a time unless under special circumstances. This change was important and the policy has remained the same for over five years. In toxic cultures, time off is earned through exhaustion, while in healthy cultures, time off is a right for well-being and rejuvenation.
