Crafting beliefs through the art of deception – that's paltoring. By strategically presenting true statements in a certain order, a compelling narrative is formed, leading to the acceptance of a belief. This technique is used in politics, advertising, and even casual conversation. Eddie Bernays explored this in his study on the importance of breakfast, which conveniently favored the pork industry. Furthermore, by indirectly associating beliefs, such as ESP and moon landing skeptics, false connections can be made using truthful statements. Paltoring is a slippery tool that challenges legal implications and requires careful unraveling.

Apollo Robbins (@ApolloRobbins) is often referred to as “The Gentleman Thief.” He first made national news when he pick-pocketed the Secret Service while entertaining a former U.S. President.
