Consistent training prolongs heat acclimation
Continuing to train and elevate core temperature, even at a slightly lower level, can delay the decay of heat acclimation. Adding one or two heat acclimation sessions per week after the initial acclimation can significantly extend its duration. Therefore, incorporating heat acclimation into regular training routines is advised for athletes to maximize its benefits in the long term.
