The Evolution of AI Models and their Impact on Problem-Solving
The GPT-4 model was the first one where the capabilities could be reliably predicted based on the amount of computation put into it, as demonstrated in a scientific study. However, as the GPT-5 model is anticipated, it raises questions on whether the same predictability will hold. Despite initial hype surrounding new model releases, the fundamental problems in the world remain the same, and the new models simply offer better tools to solve these existing problems. This evolution in AI models is expected to significantly enhance problem-solving for specific use cases.
