Distinguishing Between Complicated and Complex Problems
There are two types of problems: complicated and complex. Complicated problems are those that can be solved with enough intelligence and computational power, like designing a jet engine or building a toaster. On the other hand, complex problems, such as love and war, cannot be predicted or simulated no matter how much computational power is involved. Winning in complex problems can only be experienced or lived, not calculated or simulated.
