The Importance of Choosing Your Regrets
Regrets are an inherent part of life and cannot be completely avoided. They are not flaws, but rather features of decision-making. Even if we make the best possible choice, we still may regret not choosing the alternative. Regrets are unavailable because we cannot go back and try a different option. Therefore, we must choose which regrets we are willing to accept. When faced with difficult decisions that will inevitably lead to regret, we should consider which regrets we could live with and which we could never forgive ourselves for.
