TLT ETF Down 43% as Interest Rates Rise

Long-term bonds are experiencing significant losses while short-term treasury bonds remain stable. This past month, all the action has been in the long end. It's like long-term bonds are finally catching up to what short-dated bonds have known for a year and a half. There's a feeling that an actual recession is overdue, especially in 2024. Eventually, if you predict a recession long enough, it's bound to happen. It feels like we've been dancing in the rain for so long, with the wins slowly hitting us in the face.
