Frame rate in our daily activities like texting and social media keeps us engaged but can lead to the constant need for new content. Taking breaks to watch calming or immersive experiences like whale sharks can slow our frame rate, resetting our attention and focus. By focusing on distant, larger time bins, our frame rate slows down, leading to less resolution but potentially broader perspectives. In contrast, focusing on fine-grained analysis and predicting outcomes increases our frame rate, reflecting our attention to detail and forward-thinking mindset.
