Fuel and Engines: The Importance of Mitochondria in the Gut

I was supposed to give another talk in Vermont on the gut. The organizers, who are tied to the Western A Price Foundation, were not happy with my previous criticism of them. I explained that it's not the food, but the mitochondria that are important. I mentioned a study where the microbiome didn't change even after feeding the participants junk food. This goes against modern science, but supports my perspective that light is the key. People need to understand that the light story is crucial in understanding the microbiome and other aspects of health.
