If you're happy and constantly learning, you might decide to stick it out for years. But if you're not growing, if you don't like the direction the company is heading in, or if you're not deriving meaningful enjoyment from your work, it might be time to be an agent in your own career and make the most of your time, either by having proactive conversations with your manager or learning something new on your own time.
