The restrictions and rules surrounding property investment in New Zealand are creating obstacles and causing concerns. The cost of building and media hype are driving up asset prices, making it harder for first-home buyers to enter the market. Additionally, changes to interest deductibility and debt-to-income ratios are pushing investors away. However, there is a great opportunity for New Zealand to become more confident and successful.
