Illusions of Perception and Rationalization
Perception is an illusion as our fovea provides limited color vision in a small angle, despite our perception of full color and detail. Deep understanding of our motivations and text comprehension are also illusory, as psychological demonstrations reveal how differently our minds work from our belief. While rationalizing is often seen as the operating function of the mind, it is ultimately another layer of illusion, as textbooks suggest. Even deeply studied philosophical concepts are arbitrary constructs emerging from language games.
