Mindfulness Practice Contributes to Attention Stability and Improvement
Regular mindfulness practice, even as little as 15 minutes a day over a four-week period, after participating in a group-based training, can prevent decline in attention. In a study with a standard control design, those who received mindfulness training showed stable attention levels, while some even experienced improvement. The study also revealed a dose-response effect, indicating that the more individuals practiced mindfulness, the greater the benefit to their attention.
